About the Presenters
Samantha General, Associate Director of Stewardship, University at Buffalo

Sam began her Advancement career in 2013 at the Albright Knox. Since joining UB in 2019, she's focused on her passion for stewardship - leading impact reporting, donor events, and personalized engagement as Associate Director of Stewardship.
Katie Camm, Senior Director of Stewardship, University at Buffalo
With over eighteen years of experience cultivating meaningful connections between donors and the impact of their generosity, Katie is a seasoned leader in donor relations and stewardship. She leads a dedicated team that designs and delivers a comprehensive stewardship program, ensuring donors feel valued and engaged through personalized communication, thoughtful outreach, and immersive engagement opportunities. Her work spans the full spectrum of stewardship, from acknowledgments that foster appreciation, to endowment reporting that builds long-term trust, to scholarship stewardship that highlights transformative educational opportunities, and impact reporting that brings philanthropic outcomes to life. Katie holds a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from the University at Buffalo, as well as dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice from SUNY Brockport. She lives in Orchard Park, NY, with her husband, two sons, and their two dogs.
